Sustainability in hospitals: Building for the future<\/h2>\n

For nearly 20 years, Skanska and Tribia have worked closely together. Tribia\u2019s collaboration solutions for construction projects have contributed to higher quality, reduced time consumption and lower costs across Skanska\u2019s projects. The next project in line is the new hospital<\/a> in V\u00e4xj\u00f6, Sweden, which will replace the area’s current hospital.<\/p>\n

The aim is to build an efficient and patient-safe hospital that supports future care needs and new ways of working. The project also has ambitious sustainability goals, focusing on reducing energy consumption, lowering the climate impact of materials, and optimising the building\u2019s design. The modern design is developed by the architectural firms Arkitema and LINK Arkitektur.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are honoured by the trust that we, together with Region Kronoberg, have been given to create a modern hospital tailored to future healthcare needs and working methods,\u201d says Wilhelm Andersson, Project Manager at Skanska. \u201cThe project has high climate ambitions, which align well with our ambition to create a more sustainable society. It was therefore important for us to find robust project tools for information management that can maintain high quality and ensure a smooth process in this important project. If we can reduce errors and deviations, this is also beneficial from a sustainability perspective,\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
