The new standard represents a significant evolution of IFC4. It expands support for, among other things, geotechnical structures, linear-based modelling, and improved collaboration across disciplines and tools. This enables far better interoperability for civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
While IFC 2×3 largely relies on generic BIM objects with limited datasets, IFC 4.3 allows for a much higher level of detail. The standard supports more industry-specific information and provides better representation of infrastructure elements’ properties and performance.
Up to 50% faster model processing
Interaxo has upgraded the handling of IFC files in both Interaxo Project and Interaxo Model. The result is up to 50% faster model processing – significantly reducing the time from upload to a model being ready for use.
